For your Information
A Message from our M&M Altar Society
Our M&M Altar Society thanks you for your support in our Easter collection! Your generosity helps us to support the parish and provide things throughout the entire year like bi-weekly altar flowers, seasonal decorations and enhancements, and other church needs such as the new deacon vestments.
Sanctuary Flowers
Sanctuary flowers are offered to enhance our liturgical celebrations by parishioners who would like to remember a loved one or to give thanksgiving for people and events in their lives. Flower memorials can be one-time only recognition or long-term requests. Memorials will be printed in the Sunday Bulletin. Flower choice and colors will be at the discretion of the Altar Society and florist due to liturgical color and season. The approximate cost of the arrangement is $80; however, any donation is greatly appreciated. Contact Marla Beams in the office at 985-785-8585 to schedule a dedication.
NOTE: There are no individually dedicated flowers on the altar during the liturgical season of Lent. We will also continue to have general appeals for flower donations prior to Christmas and Easter

April 26th-27th (Saturday/Sunday): Holy Land Gifts at Holy Family
Recently the world saw the story unfold about the struggles of the Christians in Gaza and the Holy Land for the past year and a half, and unfortunately this struggle hasn’t reached an end yet. The city of Bethlehem is surrounded with checkpoints, gates, and concrete barriers that limit day to day tasks, including going to work and school. The Gaza war halted tourism to the Holy Land, all souvenir shops and hotels are now closed. This has resulted in a 70% unemployment rate among the carvers. The Catholics of the Holy Land ask for the support of your prayers and the purchase of these handcrafted artworks that can make unique sacramental gifts. Proceeds from sales generate much-needed employment opportunities and monetary funds for 600 Catholic families in Bethlehem. Cards, cash and Apple Pay will be accepted.
